With over three decades of front-line operational
experience in firefighting, I have devoted my career to
advancing fire safety, emergency response, and
specialised training across both public and private sectors.

My professional journey began with Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service, where I steadily progressed through the ranks while remaining firmly committed to operational duties. This hands-on approach and tactical expertise
became the cornerstone of my career, forming the basis for a wide range of leadership and training roles that followed.

Expanding into the maritime sector, I delivered STCW 95-compliant fire safety and emergency response training to seafarers throughout Europe. This work played a critical role in preparing maritime personnel for the distinct
challenges of managing fires at sea.

Subsequently, I moved to Saudi Arabia, where I trained professionals within the oil and gas sector. I later assumed a leadership position as Fire Chief on the groundbreaking NEOM project—one of the most ambitious and visionary infrastructure initiatives in the world today.

Having returned to the UK, I established Golden Fleece Fire Safety, a company committed to delivering
innovative, experience-led fire protection solutions.
Our flagship product—a vehicle fire containment
blanket sets a new benchmark in the market. Designed with insights drawn from decades on the front lines, the blanket incorporates proprietary safety and usability features, including a post-extinguishment system to cool residual heat and gases, enhancing both effectiveness and responder safety.

My mission is simple yet essential: to provide practical,
forward-thinking fire safety solutions grounded in
real-world operational experience, addressing the evolving demands of emergency response in the modern world.
